Blockchain, a matter of trust
El País Retina and Atraura Blockchain
El País Retina, the digital and innovation website from one of the most popular Spanish newspaper, published one post written by our CEO, Andreu Rodríguez, the last 26th of April.
The post talks about these disruptive technology and the trust factor, in short terms, this article shows how all of us have to change our point of view to start to use Blockchain properly.
Andreu talks about the philosophy behind Blockchain, terms like distributed ledger, consensus, trust will have particular relevance in our near future. The post pretends to show the big meaning of having some technology that will allow us to make something never done before.
For example it talks about the concept of consensus, and what means that for the first time in history, it will be possible to create an incorruptible record of the past and present events of the digital world so that no one can doubt that something has happened.
The big features
Its main objective was to design a global public system to record verified and universally accepted transactions, a distributed registry that was resistant to synchronyze and without the need for trust between the members that comprise it, as well as the intervention of third parties.
In few words how it works
Our CEO explains in short terms how Blockchain works: what blocks are, what a Peer-to-Peer network is, what are the nodes and how they interact with each other to create the Blockchain system. Without going into specifics, the article explains the characteristics of this technology, why it is permanent and immutable, all of this explained by technical for non-technical people.
What’s the meaning of this?
As a sum up the post explains why Blockchain is not just a hype word, why these technology will be a huge revolution in the near future. Stay tuned for our future posts talking about Blockchain and all his features.
